 Guest Focus on Reba West: It was a blast from the past as Reba West gave her
input on what's new in her life as voice actress, new projects coming out, answering
questions about scripting, her voice acting history, character development, and attending
numerous Robotech conventions throughout the years. |
What's New at IronCat?: Steve Bennett gave quick updates to Studio
IronCat's upcoming 2003 lineup and new projects, along with focused attention on the manga
artist guests brought over for this year: Senno Knife and Nekoi Rutoto. Topics covered
animation work with the great Leiji Matsumoto and answering questions about their characters
in their current manga works. |

| The Way of the Kimono: Panelists were on hand to give a brief history
of the kimono and how it made its way through Japanese tradition. Topics included
customary traditions, ornaments, perception of kimono as symbol of luxury and social status,
use of kimono in kabuki theaters, a demonstration on how to put on and wear a kimono, and
much more. |
Inside Studio Madhouse: Madhouse representatives were on hand to
discuss their future projects and optimistic outlook on the strength of Japanese animation
in America. Topics of discussion included new anime, live action projects, new Jubei
Ninja Scroll movie in the works, finishing up the Chobits TV show, and answering questions
about the latest Vampire Hunter D movie. |

their favorite battle brawns including robots from such anime shows like BrainpowerD, Gundam,
Voltron, L-Gaim, Mazinger Z, Grandizer, Getter-Robo, and many more. |
Tokusatsu: Live Action shows are still reaping in praise
from old school fans as panelists and audience members spoke about their favorite
live-action sentai heroes and villians from shows like Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Godzilla,
Kaiju, Space Sheriff, Metal Head and much more. |
