It's lights, camera, action! as the Sakura Cosplay Contest hosted a splendid array of talented cosplayers high in Sakura spirit and energy ready to put on a fabulous and entertaining show for the masses. Shown below, we've captured some of that energy for online viewers to enjoy!

The stage was set and the show played on time to a packed theater hall of excited fans and Guests of Honor as the Sakura Cosplay Contest Night got underway with a rousing spectacle of costume and skit performances. Winners for this year included: Bravest Award to Chibi Card Captor Sakura, Best Musical Award to Sailor Moon: Moon Revenge, Best Monologue Presentation Award to Sakura and Kero-chan, Best Professional Costume Award to Mobile Suit Gundam and Zaku, Best Amateur Costume Award to Knights in White Satin, Best Shoujo Award to Sailor Moon: Moon Revenge, Best Group Performance Award to Bakuzaku in Love, Anime Pavilion's Choice Award #1 to Chibi Card Captor Sakura, Anime Pavilion's Choice Award #2 to Sailor Moon: Moon Revenge, Anime Pavilion's Choice Award #3 to Knights of White Satin, and Best Overall Performance Award to Bakuzaku in Love.

Noteworthy first for any Cosplay Contest entry: to the amazement of many, the young Sailor Moon: Moon Revenge trio sang the entire Japanese song Moon Revenge from the famous show while simultaneously performing in sign-language for the hearing impaired! An absolutely fantastic performance for which they fully deserved Best Musical Award winning and more!
