The Recca-con 2002 costume contest kicked off with a wonderful performance by cosplayers giving a Morning Musume opening presentation.  Cosplay skit presentations included characters from Card Captor Sakura, Angelic Layer, Digimon, Magic Knights Rayearth, Rurouni Kenshin, FFX, Star Motion EX, Magna Carta, Dark Cloud, FF9, Angel Sanctuary, Sailor Moon, Dead or Alive 3, Gundam Wing, and Graviton.
