Playing included such themes as
Study Session, Hanagumi, Combat Expo, Jewelry Show, Fighting Tournaments, and the Final Exam. For the cosplayers and weekend RPG actors, this was definitely a chance to get into the art of becoming your favorite anime or manga character and maybe survive a few martial arts attacks or Baka Hammers or two. |

| Video Gaming: The mega-huge game room at Otakon held a wide
variety of big-screen tournaments with lots of Sony Playstation 2s and Microsoft X-BOXes from sea to shining sea. Scheduled gaming tournaments included titles such as Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 and 7th Mix, Soul Calibur 2, Guilty Gear XX, Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, and Halo. |
