It's MechaMania time as
fans joined together for this showdown at NDK7 to compete for the best scrapyard mecha
ever! Contestants had only 2 hours to use anything they could find in the recycle bins
and didn't waste any time on building their own unique contraptions with ingredients such as
plastic caps, tubes, straws, dispenser lids, wires, spoons, bottles, egg crates, gears, fans,
cups, pie tins, cardboard, and yes, even AOL disks. Each team or individual's entries
were judges on use of materials, poseablity, budget, design, presentation, and extra credit
for whatever that might surprise the judges. LLNN even included a look at all the great
entries after they were judged! Great job to everyone! |
