Tennessee folks are not known to be bashful and this year's MTAC events had a lot to show for those excited attendees.  Shown in these two pages are some of the results of what the MTAC Pi staff had been working hard on all year to please this year's excited attendees. Great job!

MTAC Pi
Main Events 1

Ramen Eating Contest: Not for the faint of heart!  Contestants pulled up a chair and gave their stomachs something to talk about with a full-on burst of fresh-outta-the-pot ramen noodles and some glasses of water to push it down.  The winner of the contest is pictured in the far left of the right photo (noodles dripping).  Messy?  Yes.  Fun?  Hell yeah!

Registration: MTAC's events and panels encouraged a pack full 'o anime con attendees, both new and old, to join in the weekend's exclusive roundup of activities and things to see.  Numbers totaled at 380 which sets a nice record for MTAC's third year.
Cosplay Contest: A packed ballroom of excited parents and friends cheered on the contestants for this year's MTAC Cosplay Contest.  Numerous characters represented: Final Fantasy, Fushigi Yugi, Evangelion, Tenchi Muyou, Rayearth, 3X3 Eyes, Chrono Cross, Inuyasha, Chobits, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam Wing, Card Captor Sakura, Trigun, Read or Die, Slayers, Yami Ni No Matsui, Tetsuougi, Vampire Hunter D, Cowboy Bebop, Clover, and Digi Charat.
Cosplay Contest judges included Melissa Wilson, Steve Bennett, and Brad Kane.  Prizes for this year's cosplay contest were graciously donated by Urban Vision, Synch-Point, Viz Communications, and Odin's Monsters.  Prizes included anime DVDs and tapes, clocks, posters, and lots of shirts.  Congratulations on all the winners and contestants who put on a great show!
