Fanime Con 2003 had
something for everyone and this year was no exception with more style and panache than ever
before. Opening Ceremonies gathered attention around the packed Guests of Honor list and
Wushu troupe. Attendees to the Karaoke Contest saw a completely packed room full of
excited participants. The big Anime Music Video Iron Chef Contest gathered tons of entries
as this new form of AMV battleground grows with more capable technologies for fans to take advantage of digital
media. Masquerade is always the most popular weekend highlight of the year. And
for those with wandering eyes, the Macross 20th Anniversary Party was definitely an
eye-opening opportunity for fans of this show to sit in and reminisce about the good 'ol days
of anime gone wild. |
