Without those dedicated
staffers, attendees would have no convention, but this particular convention bounded through
the gates of numerous obstacles, challenges, and barriers to bring an anime convention right
in the middle of Times Square! Staffers from Otakon, Anime Expo, Anime Boston, Anime
Next, Big Apple Anime Festival, Shoujo-con, Yuri-con, Genericon, Project A-kon, and many more joined forces to make this
one a reality and this was probably the biggest gathering of anime and manga fans ever at over
5,500 attendees over the weekend! Absolutely an excellent job for all and a rewarding experience for both Otakon and AX to work
together as well as train new staffers on planning even more future conventions around the
