Staff Barbecue in Coyote Point, San Mateo

Moo?

Partially cloudy and partially sunny, the weather forecast for the weekend did not deter staffers from their much-needed vacation from 1998 pre-convention work.  Held in San Mateo's shoreline Coyote Point park, the one-day barbecue included various activities from the ever-popular volleyball and badminton to video games and mahjong.
Leann (Info) prepares herself in a winning volleyball match. Hiroki (Guest Services Director), our "Cruiseline Leisure Director"
Albert (Archive) serves the ball in a winning game.
Kirstin (Guest Services) serving Pat (Info) cooly spinning the ball Nicole (Exhibit Hall) serving
Mike (CEO) and Dickinson (VTech) poking fun at each other while surrounding dudes laugh at their many in-jokes.
Luke (Merchandising, Karaoke) sets up a spike during a winning game.
What is a relaxing vacation without mahjong?  Jeremy (Volunter Coordinator) and Mike (CEO) finish up some AX business while Nicole (Exhibit Hall) sets up her pieces.
Kirstin (Guest Services) and Taka (Interpreter Head) feast in the shade.
View from the grill as Stan (Exhibit Hall) and Peti (Exhibit Hall) watch the cooking steaks. Ooooo.. steak!
Dana (Guest Services) and Aaron (Info) wait patiently for their round of meat.  Treat your staffers right, and they will do a great job.
Yes, we even set up a video game table.  Games for the day: Gran Turismo, Bust-a-Move, and some Marble game.
Hiroki (Guest Services Director) attempts to recruit wandering souls into a game of badminton.
Quack.
