Featured here are familiar sights of AnimeExpo one never forgets: the lines and the cool merchandise. Who can forget the lines of excited attendees? Especially when they wrap around and around the halls hours before registration opens! But this year was no exception; registration this year dealt with a massive increase of at-con registration totaling over 6100 attendees across 3 days, a number that exceeded projected forecasts for the year as well as once again topping the scales of worldwide anime convention attendeeship. And let's not forget the cool merchandise: AX99 t-shirts with Mika Akitaka's "AX Gal" and custom lanyards to go with your AX99 badge. Since no events nor activities are going on at the time, most attendees figure why not stay in line and get their registration over with now and not worry about doing it the next day. | ||

| This staffer provided a handy water mister to jokingly reward attendees with a cool mist bath who have stood in line for a long time.
