From Final Fantasy to Utena, Sailor Moon to Fushigi Yuugi, King of Fighters to Card Captor Sakura, and more anime shows and video games than anyone can remember, this year's AX enjoyed an explosion of new costumes! Hundreds upon hundreds of avid cosplay fans traveled from around the world to celebrate four days of anime celebration by dressing up in many different costumes, stylish, simple, elegant, and sexy, and even posing in character form for the enjoyment of surrounding fans. To many fans, cosplaying is a welcome relief from the grim "real world" into a fantasy world of lights, cameras, and lots of friends to enjoy the exciting convention experience with.
