J-Rock fans rejoiced as Anime Central 2002 anime fan band SWEK returned to its fanbase, playing loud and proud for the crowds. With selections from popular J-Rock titles and well-known anime theme songs, SWEK packed in a good audience. SWEK band members include: evil Dale on guitar, wicked madman Mike C. on guitar, uber kawaii Janaki on lead vocal, resident rude boy Jon on bass, Smiley a.k.a. Crayon on keyboards, and the beloved Eric "Neko-kun" on the drums. Also joining the band were new percussionists adding a little twist: Mark on the trombone, Nathan on the baritone saxophone, Rich on the tenor saxophone, Rob on the tuba, and Stephen on the trumpet.
