Part of the excitement
of attending anime conventions involves recognizing the huge wealth of uniqueness within the
fan communities. Those with keen eyes, and even not-so-keen eyes could spot those visual
oddities that make the convention so much fun: Carl Horn's artistic statement on his
Artist Alley table, locating your friends with obvious signboards, plushie attacks on the
staff desks, free confessions by Woflwood, sharing great "war stories" within the
Press area, gawking at the great Ghidora masterpiece of cosplay art, donating to a worthy
otaku cause, and seeing anime on... candy bars... in the United States! |
