| This year's Guests Reception was held in a nicely equipped tent just a few steps outside of the hotel. Replete with light, heaters, plenty of hot and cold appetizers and drinks to dine on, numerous avid fans got a rare chance to speak candidly and comfortably with the honored Guests about their artwork, industry, worldly challenges, and personal views about the convention scene. | |

| In the wee hours of the night, you'd think everyone would be sound asleep. Not so! Hundreds of fans were packed inside the Main Ballroom to catch Midnight Madness' hilarious live-action screenings hosted by Corn Pone Flicks. Noted short parody flicks included: "Corn Dog 7", "The Phone", "Pizzalero Version 1", "Desslock's Big Score", and even a wealth of old-timer comparisons of new anime versus old (or rotten) live-action that included: Golgo 13, Giant Robo, DragonBall, Gigantor, Rose of Versailles, Sailor Moon, and Devilman. | |
